Federico Gutierrez achieved the official candidacy for center-right candidate with more than 1.7 million votes. Former mayor of Medellin has won the Barguil (Char) Penalosa, Barguil (Char), and Tab of los Cristianos.

Federico Gutierrez was born in Medellin in 1974 and is a former mayor. He has been an elected Medellin Municipal Youth Councilor since the year 2003. Gutierrez is an Civil Engineer by profession at the University of Medellin, holds a Specialization Degree in Senior Management at the Pontifical Bolivarian University and one in Political Science.
