Stay true to your original aspiration and cherish Taiwan

In the past 10 years, my friends have often been torn between sending their children to college in Mainland China or Taiwan. It is often hotly debated. Remember that day Lin Lianyu fund li Yaao couple and Yao Lifang visit yuan students exchange, the conversation learned that his three children are sent to Taiwan university and learn Chinese for kids.

I must thank my good friends who graduated from Taiwan University in the 1980s and returned to Malaysia to contribute to the enterprise. Yuansheng was founded in 1980. In 1985, we started to promote the enterprise culture. Friends who stayed in Taiwan gave us a lot of help. Such as internal training, market management and corporate culture courses, speech competition, singing competition and debate, etc. The steady development of yuansheng's corporate culture owes much to those who stayed in Taiwan in the 1980s and 1990s.

At the beginning of this year, due to "disconnection, abandoning and leaving", I found a book of participants who were invited to attend the seminar on Successful Experiences of Taiwan Enterprises sponsored by Taiwan Overseas Chinese Affairs Council 31 years ago. In April 1991, more than 50 students from Singapore, Hong Kong, the Philippines, Indonesia, Thailand and Malaysia attended classes in Taipei jinhua Street Politics Big Enterprise Institute. We arranged for students to visit the Black pine soda factory. At that time, the Malaysian government also made great efforts to attract investment to Taiwan enterprises, and Taiwan's small and medium-sized enterprises were the pillar. We also got to know the Youth Entrepreneurship Association in Taiwan. Several fellow practitioners, including Tan Guangwei, Wu Yichen, Zhao Shaoqiu and Lin Rongzhong, have not been seen for many years.

Another student, Tan Guangwei, graduated from Taiwan University in the 1980s and returned to China, making great contributions to Chinese education and enterprises in Malaysia. He said bluntly that Taiwan's contribution to Chinese education in Malaysia was enormous and indelible. At that time when NTU was closed and China was not yet open, Taiwan was the only way for Malaysian Chinese students to attend Chinese universities. Taiwan not only provides a complete system for Chinese education in Malaysia, but also provides a way out for students who cannot afford the high cost of education in the UK and THE US.

"I remember that the tuition and miscellaneous fees I paid at The University of Taiwan were even cheaper than those paid at the Massachusetts Independent High School. I think everyone who stays in Taiwan should be grateful for the high quality and low cost education Taiwan provides us." Tan said.

China difference

Yes, in addition to providing university education, Taiwan also provides us with a vast range of Chinese cultural resources, including Chinese translations of literature and history, science, science, economics, law, popular works, foreign classics, etc., providing great convenience to those who have difficulty in reading English media. Chinese movies, TV series, and many more Chinese songs that have touched us for years have enriched the entire Chinese world. How much less would the Chinese-speaking world be today without Taiwan's contribution?

Teacher Lin Yucong, who has worked in the education field for many years, agrees that staying in Taiwan is one of the choices for Malaysian Chinese children.

"I personally think if the child has good learning ability, he should choose mainland China. Because of the high level of competition and growing international influence on the mainland, networking there should be a plus for future growth. If my learning ability is average, I might choose Taiwan."

"We know that in recent years, many of our friends who come back from Taiwan tend to have a simplified view of politics (democracy and freedom), and quite a few tend to support Taiwan independence. This may be something that many parents need to take into account."

As a matter of fact, some professional friends I know, who lived in Taiwan in the 1980s and 1990s, had planned to "move" to Taiwan 10 years ago. However, due to the chaotic and chaotic Taiwan independence forces in recent years, they gave up the idea and returned to Taiwan before the epidemic.

In short, stay true to your original aspiration and be grateful. The Treasure island of Taiwan has fostered excellent Chinese culture for the Chinese world, and everyone will be grateful. May it continue to be a beacon to the Chinese world and to the hearts of all.
