The largest South Asian festival in Canada, #BollywoodMonster Mashup presented by TD, is coming back to Mississauga Celebration Square on Fri Aug 5 & Sat Aug 6. Actor Sunny Leone will meet with fans to support South Asian arts programs for kids. Yasser Desai and Aakanksha Sharma, brought to you by Tourism Mississauga, will perform their hit songs in a special doubleheader performance. Yasser Desai is known for “Makhna” from the film Drive starring the late Sushant Singh Rajput and Jacqueline Fernandez. Aakanksha Sharma is known for hit Rajasthani song “Kajaliyo” and her duet “Jogi” from the film Shaadi Mein Zaroor Aana starring Rajkummar Rao and Kriti Kharbanda. Aaman Trikha will perform “Prem Leela” from the film Prem Ratan Dhan Payo starring Salman Khan and “Bansuri” from the film Bhavai starring Pratik Gandhi and Aindrita Ray and arts and crafts for kids.

“We're back in person for you!” says festival Executive Director Vikas Kohli. “You'll be able to meet Sunny Leone, dance to Yasser, Aakanksha and Aaman's hit songs, eat delicious food and shop at the #BollywoodMonster Bazaar. We've got kabobs, kulfi, dosas, samosas, gol gappe, chaat papri, bhel puri, clothing, jewellery, and handicrafts. We're adding more food and shopping options from local businesses daily."

Up to 100 fans can purchase a photo-op with Sunny on Sat Aug 6 in support of the non-profit #MonsterArts for Youth program. #MonsterArts for Youth provides school children of all backgrounds hands-on workshops in Bollywood music, Bhangra dance, Tamil singing, ghazal writing, mandala-making and more. To engage the whole family, the festival offers free Bollywood & Garba dance lessons, West Indian drumming, tennis and crafts for kids at the #BollywoodMonster KidZone brought to you by Tim Hortons. Additionally, new this year is the #BollywoodMonster Seniors Lounge which will have seated dancing, card games, accessible seating and more. People of all ages can find delicious food & unique shopping at the #BollywoodMonster Bazaar all weekend long.

Along with Bollywood stars, the two evening concerts will feature dozens of Garba, Bhangra, Sufi, Drag & Disco music and dance performances on the #BollywoodMonster Main Stage brought to you by Virgin Plus. Audiences will be able to get behind the scenes insights from their favourite artists at the #BollywoodMonster AMA brought to you by OLG.
