It is feasible to feel quiet and happy for not a great explanation by any stretch of the imagination, or under testing conditions.

Take note of times when you feel peaceful and open. Be aware of any sensation of liberation. The key is to be aware. Peace has a chance to become a part of your life if you are aware of it. Enjoy times of tranquility. Do not try to control your emotions, pursue them, or create a false sense of excitement. It is not necessary to grasp. Just know, and let the inclination bloom and open. Give it room to grow. Maintain a positive attitude; let your mind unwind there. You might also feel calm in your body. Take a moment to appreciate the feeling of warmth or relaxed breathing that you are experiencing.

It is possible to be calm and happy regardless of the circumstances or for no apparent reason. Take a look at course of miracles. A feeling or object is not necessary for the enlightened mind to experience peace on its own. However, for the average mind, it is preferable to begin with positive emotions, as follows:

Keep an eye out for the good: Toward the start, we ought to zero in on sure circumstances and pictures, and cheer in their mending power. It could be the sight of a young child proudly taking a few awkward steps while a parent is watching. You might have unselfishly performed a small act of kindness, or perhaps someone else has graciously greeted you with a smile and an open heart. If we have an open and receptive attitude, the simplest activities like going for a walk or sipping a cup of tea can bring us contentment and even joy. Develop an appreciation mindset.

Look at the bright side of the bad: We should not only concentrate on the positive aspects of negative objects after we have gained some mental strength. Find the bright side in adversity—the silver lining in a gloomy situation. Humor is a great way to use common sense. It can change our perspective and suddenly turn a supposedly negative situation around!

Since many people's minds are overly sensitive, they feel the bad things more strongly. Anxiety can grow and take root as a result of this. The solution is to develop a mind that is less sensitive. In fact, we can choose "not to mind so much" when negative circumstances arise, making them simpler to manage. "If we are not sensitive, then because of our mental strength, even great pain will feel easy to bear, light and flimsy, like a piece of cotton," the Third Dodrupchen writes.
