5 Things Everyone Gets Wrong About mattress heater

Every winter, I feel like it has gotten cooler than the year before. Perhaps it is since every year, I get older and my metabolism decreases. This year, I chose to figure out how to stay warm in bed. My blankets are not any warmer and I didn't wish to change blankets so I decided to try other methods. Here is what I tried and what seemed to work for me.

Warmer pajamas: I am utilized to using shorts and a tee shirt to bed. Or, often, I'll use a hot camisole for my hubby and I to enjoy. This winter season, I attempted wearing long sleeve pajamas. I in fact tried various kinds. I tried the flannel pajamas. They were incredibly warm and I felt great all night. The only thing was that I didn't get to feel the softness of my down blanket against my body - something that I actually take pleasure in. Likewise, I didn't feel as attractive going to sleep, something that I like to feel too, especially with my husband sleeping beside me. Next, I tried wearing these silk pajamas. They certainly felt soft to the touch, but weren't as warm as the flannel. It still worked much better than a camisole or shorts and a tee shirt.

Heated blanket: Although I like my blankets, I decided to include a heated blanket below them just for my body. The heated blanket worked too well. I was practically too hot and my husband and I hesitated of starting a fire in the middle of the night since the blanket needed to be plugged in. While this alternative was good, I decided I would simply use it for times when I am resting on the sofa and reading and require some additional warmth. I'm keeping the blanket, however am not going to use it to go to sleep.

Cashmere bed socks: This was another alternative recommended to me by a buddy. Initially, when she mentioned it, I had no concept what cashmere bed socks were. I found out that they specify socks that you can purchase to use to bed. Obviously, you don't have to purchase these socks and you can always simply wear any pair of cotton socks to bed, however these are made particularly to keep your feet warm all night. I really tried using these with my shorts and tee shirt and discovered that it made a huge distinction in how warm I felt. Remarkably, these worked really well and I didn't have to fear a fire or alter what I generally used. Obviously wearing socks to bed mattress pad warmer felt a little foreign to me in the beginning, but eventually I got utilized to it.

My blankets are not any warmer and I didn't want to change blankets so I decided to try other ways. The only thing was that I didn't get to feel the softness of my down blanket versus my body - something that I actually delight in. Heated blanket: Although I enjoy my blankets, I decided to add a heated blanket below them just for my body. The heated blanket worked too well. I'm keeping the blanket, but am not going to use it to go to sleep.
