How to do a relaxing back massage: preparation
Be sure to ensure that your patient has no contraindications to this procedure. Examine the patient for acute infectious diseases, purulent diseases of any location, trauma or bleeding, inflammatory diseases of the lymph nodes or ducts, bleeding disorders, chronic osteomyelitis, cancer, thrombosis, mental disorders and other disorders that could lead to negative consequences when combined with massage.

A professional approach to how to do a relaxing massage, certainly includes important points of preparation. It is about the room, the masseur and the patient himself.

An ideal room for a relaxing massage is a well-ventilated room that has enough oxygen. However, do not forget about the comfortable temperature, so after airing (especially in cold weather), make sure that the air warms up to 23 degrees. It is this temperature that is optimal and pleasant for most patients.

Relaxing Massage Technique

Today we will present an option on how to do a relaxing back massage, starting with a preliminary massage of the entire back area, and then moving on to the sequential study of individual zones: the collar, lower thoracic and lumbar.
Pre-massage relaxing throughout the back lasts about 5-6 minutes.

This technique involves massage movements in 3-4 symmetrical vertical lines located on both sides of the spine. Perform longitudinal and then transverse stroking first. Each view is 1 minute.
Then go to the push-ups. These movements should be less intense than stroking, but performed with more pressure. Such a massage is carried out for 1-3 minutes.

Next, go to the reception of grinding, observing moderate pressure on the tissue. As a result of the proper implementation of this technique, the patient feels pleasant warmth in his back.

Preparation of a massage therapist includes hand care (soft, warm hands without nails), a psycho-emotional mood.
