Triple nuke strike causes Fallout 76 server crashes

It’s important to note exactly how the beta will work. Fallout 76 is not going to run 24 hours a day for its entire testing period. Instead, developer Bethesda Game Studios is planning to make it live for four-to-eight hours each day. This should force players to all get on at the same time, which will stress the servers. So basically, don’t take a day off of work to play the Fallout 76 beta. Check to make sure that the test is running during a time when you can play.

Scorchbeasts are tough, level 50 creatures that look like massive mutant bats, but the level 95 Scorchbeast Queen that spawns after nuking their hive is much more difficult to take down. The players were able to defeat the monster within the 30-minute event though, and received loot that included Ultracite, which is the best crafting material in Fallout 76.

YouTube user Nickaroo93 and his crew recently staged the simultaneous launch of three nukes. Apparently, that was simply too much radiation for a single server to handle. Shortly after dropping the bombs and attempting to venture into ground zero, they were booted from the game. Nickaroo93 told The Verge that his squad now wants to try launching nukes at three different regions on the map (rather than all in the same place) to see how the server responds. By the way, you can buy cheap Fallout 76 Bottle Caps from mmocs.com, where you can enjoy a 3% discount by using the code “ MMOCSVIP ”.

Lowering the price to zero will also lure more players, which makes more sense here than most online games. Despite what you may have heard about its PvP elements, Fallout 76 is an almost entirely cooperative game that works best in a group, and a free-to-play option would remove a barrier that keeps skeptical friends from heading into the wasteland.

Fortunately for the Fallout 76 masses, Brogadyn is a responsible player, and is not hunting down others to abuse the god mode glitch, nor revealing the circumstances that resulted in the bug. However, Brogadyn is limited to boring activities, as a lot of things are restricted. For example, mutation farming is unavailable because healing is not possible, as the Fallout 76 character is forever stuck at zero HP.

Bethesda has extended the game’s tutorial well outside of Vault 76. You’ll still be learning about new systems even after you’ve marched two towns over. Most importantly, following along with the Overseer’s questline is a good way to learn recipes, and the only way you’ll learn how to interact with the game’s elaborate crafting systems.
