크래프톤은 지난해 수입 2조6500억원, 영업이익 7500억원을 달성하며 8년 새 6배 이상 규모를 키웠다. 시가총액은 이미 60조원을 넘어서며 게임 대장주 넷마블를 넘어선 상황고, 영업이익도 넥슨와 엔씨소프트(NCSOFT)을 압도한다.
도쿄 증시에 상장한 업계 1위 넥슨(Nexon)과의 격차도 크지 않다. 특출나게 근래에 암호화폐 폭락으로 손실을 본 넷마블을 넘어섰다는 분석도 나오고 있어, 현재의 흥행 분위기가 이어질 경우 단숨에 국내외 6위 게임사로 발돋움할 것으로 보인다.
