Consider this; for the FY 2020-21, over 8.5 lakh SUVs were sold which gives it a market share of over 32%. Infact, SUVs registered the fastest growth in the Indian passenger car market during the same period. So, which were the cars that make the SUV category in India a big hit? Let’s find out.

This latest entrant from Renault proved to be the disruptor that the market was probably waiting for. With a hefty starting price of Rs. 30.34 lakh, the Fortuner dominates the top end of SUV cars in India.
