Every winter, I feel like it has gotten chillier than the year prior to. Perhaps it is due to the fact that every year, I grow older and my metabolic process decreases. This year, I decided to find out how to remain warm in bed. My blankets are water heat mattress pad not any warmer and I didn't want to change blankets so I chose to attempt other ways. Here is what I tried and what appeared to work for me.

Warmer pajamas: I am used to using shorts and a t-shirt to bed. Or, often, I'll wear a hot camisole for my other half and I to enjoy. This winter season, I tried wearing long sleeve pajamas. I really tried various kinds. I attempted the flannel pajamas. They were very warm and I felt excellent all night. The only thing was that I didn't get to feel the softness of my down blanket versus my body - something that I actually delight in. Likewise, I didn't feel as appealing going to bed, something that I like to feel also, particularly with my partner sleeping next to me. Next, I attempted wearing these silk pajamas. They certainly felt soft to the touch, but weren't as warm as the flannel. It still worked much better than a camisole or shorts and a t-shirt.

Heated blanket: Although I like my blankets, I decided to add a heated blanket beneath them simply for my body. The heated blanket worked too well.

Of course, you do not have to purchase these socks and you can always just use any pair of cotton socks to bed, but these are made particularly to keep your feet warm all night. I actually attempted wearing these with my shorts and tee shirt and discovered that it made a substantial difference in how warm I felt. Of course using socks to bed felt a little foreign to me at first, however ultimately I got used to it.

My blankets are not any warmer and I didn't desire to alter blankets so I chose to try other ways. The only thing was that I didn't get to feel the softness of my down blanket against my body - something that I actually delight in. Heated blanket: Although I enjoy my blankets, I chose to add a heated blanket below them just for my body. The heated blanket worked too well. I'm keeping the blanket, but am not going to utilize it to go to sleep.
