Almost 100, 000 accounts were banned from PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds last weekend break, according to BattlEye.

"As we announced before, we are in the process of adopting new tools to detect as well as verify users with unusual gameplay patterns and today, we will be rolling out additional measures, " said PUBG Corp. on Nov. 3. "We will continue to permanently ban those who are using cheats.

When unusual gameplay patterns are detected from an account, that account will be temporarily suspended and investigated. "It appears that the bans will continue to flow, as cheaters seem persistent in their efforts to tilt the playing field in their favor. But the fact that the number of banned accounts has doubled over the past month is a good sign for players hoping to play fair.
