Attention To The Use Of Flat Screen Printing Machine

When it comes to the precautions of fully automatic Stenter mesh, if handled properly, it will save waste, improve printing quality and extend the life of the mesh.

However, in many screen printing machine manufacturers, it is always inevitable to decontaminate the mesh of the screen printing screen when using a fully automatic screen printing machine for screen printing. And when there is dirt or dry ink on the printing part of the picture, the screen should be decontaminated, and the screen frame should be lifted after stopping the printing machine. At this time, some operators will apply the emery cloth with the solvent and vigorously. Wiping the lower side of the stencil, the sound can be heard throughout the printing workshop, and the stencil is often damaged. So how do you correctly do the precautions for the mesh?

When printing color images with high screen count, the emulsifier film under the silk threads is only 5-6um thick, and the silk thread diameter of the mesh itself may be only 30um, which cannot withstand strong friction. Therefore, the key to avoid rough decontamination is to prevent the template from being contaminated first. The main cause of stencil contamination is improper ink control, resulting in dry ink remaining in the mesh. When using solvent-based inks or water-based inks, the reason is that the ink is too thin or too thick. There should be no change in the state of ink adjustment. When using UV-curable inks, you should try to avoid the screen from being irradiated by UV lamps, and also avoid sunlight.

Another ink control problem and improper control of printing speed can cause uneven supply, which can quickly dry out meshes with insufficient ink. The last reason that causes the ink to dry is that the squeegee is improperly set or has been worn. When printing fine-grained images with a high screen count, it is required to use the squeegee. The edge ink plate will be deformed or worn during normal use. The sharpness of the image will decrease accordingly, which indicates that the ink may not pass through the mesh normally. If this problem is not solved in time, the ink will be dry and fixed in the mesh.
In order to avoid the above-mentioned problems, the squeegee should be turned over regularly to extend the service life of its squeegee, or it should be replaced with a new squeegee before the quality of graphic printing has not deteriorated.

In order to make the mesh work normally, you should also pay attention to cleaning up the dirt in the ink or on the substrate. Due to electrostatic adsorption of pollutants in the air and poor storage conditions, the surface of the substrate will be stained with dirt. The above problems can be solved by improving the storage conditions and process control. In addition, the use of static eliminators and substrate decontamination devices can also be used. Prevent the transfer of dust and dirt from the printing surface to the mesh.

Finally, remove the dirt under the screen. In this case, you should wipe off the dirt gently with a soft cloth, and don't use excessive force. The above cleaning and decontamination methods should be frequently used in the production process to extend the service life of the screen and Flat Screen Printing Machine and reduce the scrap rate.
