MINSK, 11 April (BelTA) - The TV channel Euronews offers a new video on the Minsk European Games 2019 in its Focus latest episode, BelTA has learned. Initially, the desire to host the Games showed such states as The Netherlands, Russia, Turkey, Poland and some others. A special edition of Minsk Guest Card will be offered for the European Games. Starting with Thursday's game, kicking off 8:20 p.m. Eastern time, Amazon is making the broadcasts available to everyone for free — if you watch it through Twitch, the company's streaming European Games live stream free service best known for showing feeds of live video games. A tender for the contract to the 2019 Games, which will be staged in Minsk, has been run by the local organising committee, the Belarussian Olympic Committee, Belarus National State TV and Radio Company, as well as certain government ministries and departments.

The first European Games were held in Azerbaijan on 12-28 June 2015. Minsk will mainly use existing venues as it looks to keep costs down and make the Games a more attractive prospect for western European cities that have so far shown limited interested in hosting them.
