The main selling point of aion classic kinah this game isn't even that much of a high quality, sadly. If developers put time into the releases of the classic variations and actually had love for the match not a pure monetary motivation, possibly we'd see these apparent issues repaired, and in the event the clunkyness could be repaired, it could really be one of the best PvP games out there.
Far from the same thing for a GCD. Animation duration is different from skill to skill which is the reverse of"worldwide". Also as mentioned at the top remark, you will find a lot of technical tricks revolving around animation that if mastered, puts you at a huge advantage depending on the class you're playing. For instance a ranger who does not know how to slideshot or jumpshot will not be able to kite almost and one who does. A sin who does not AAC (automobile attack cancel) will be pumping less out dps and reducing their opportunities at a godstone proc. Other courses AAC also but because of the gap in cartoon duration, the timing is completely different. Thus again, not even near the same thing as a GCD which compels you to wait for a predetermined quantity of time between every ability unless you have haste.
As for the ping, yes it absolutely things but the comment about requiring sub 20ms to play melee is way overblown. I played everywhere from 60-80ms and had no issues dueling both skilled players using 20-30ms. Yes you can at times get the"you are too far off" message despite being alongside a target but I attribute this to imperceptible terrain obstacles on certain maps rather than a constant issue.
But the trade-off is well worth it in my own view - that being fast paced combat that flows well with a high skill ceiling.
I was gonna say that he is probably not pursuing properly, or did not have an extendable weapon. The game never gave me a lot of problems without being in range, unless it was intended when I had been fighting a ranged char with CC.
In Terms of the ping, I'm concerned. I am getting 90 ping or so since I live on the west shore. I wish they had a west coast and west coast server. This is not Korea. NA is massive, and we do not have the link latency KR has.
Additionally slideshotting and jumpshotting barely requires skilll, literally 80 percent of rangers that may do that are literal clickers. In fact, over 50% of aion pvp videos are individuals literally clicking on euro aion classic buy kinah their abilities, I am certain that shows how hard the pvp is.
