Apolar 75mg Capsule is a medicine used to relieve pain caused by nerve damage (neuropathic pain) due to diabetes, shingles (shingles infection), spinal cord injury, or other conditions. Pregabalin 75 MG Capsule is used to treat neuropathic pain (pain due to nerve damage) and fibromyalgia (severe muscle pain and tenderness).

Pregabalin is used to treat postherpetic neuralgia (neuralgia caused by the varicella-zoster virus), painful peripheral neuropathy caused by diabetes, neuralgia caused by spinal cord injury, and fibromyalgia (the pain in the muscles and connective tissue of patients).

It is also effective against nerve-related pain because it reduces the amount of pain signals sent by damaged nerves in the body. Pregaba NT tablets are also used to treat neurological conditions such as diabetic peripheral neuropathy, post-herpetic neuralgia and spinal cord injury.

Pregaba NT Tablet is a combination medicine used to treat severe neuropathic pain. Neuropathic pain treatment with pregabalin can be administered in two or three divided doses of 150 mg per day.

Patients who do not have adequate pain relief after 2 to 3 weeks of treatment with 150 mg twice daily and are well tolerated with pregabalin capsules may be given up to 300 mg twice daily.

Given the high rate of dose-dependent adverse reactions and treatment discontinuation due to adverse reactions, reserve doses greater than 300 mg/day for those patients with persistent pain who tolerate 300 mg/day.

There is no evidence that a dose of 200 mg three times daily has a greater effect on pain scores than a dose of 100 mg three times daily, but there is evidence of dose-dependent adverse effects.
Side effects of pregabalin-treated patients who reported these adverse reactions in short-term controlled trials, dizziness persisted until the last dose in 30% and somnolence persisted until the last dose in 42%.

In a clinical study of adults with neuropathic pain associated with diabetic peripheral neuropathy, 9% of gabapentin-treated patients and 4% of placebo-treated patients discontinued treatment prematurely due to adverse reactions.

The efficacy and safety of pregabalin were evaluated in a 12-week placebo-controlled study in 295 children aged 4 to 16 years and a 14-day placebo-controlled study in 175 children aged 1 month to 4 years.

As add-on therapy for partial-onset seizures and two one-year open-label safety studies involving 54 and 431 pediatric epilepsy patients 3 months to 16 years, respectively, adverse events of pyrexia and upper respiratory tract infection were significantly higher. It has been observed more frequently in studies of adults with epilepsy.

Conclusion

In a clinical study evaluating the effect of pregabalin on sperm motility, healthy male subjects were exposed to pregabalin at a dose of 600 mg/day. There are no dosage recommendations for the use of pregabalin and gabapentin.

Patients should be advised to exercise caution until they become aware of the potential effects of pregabalin. Learn to pronounce the name of the drug, how to use it, dosage, how to take it, when to take it, when not to take it, side effects, special precautions, warnings, and proper storage instructions.

Use with caution in patients with heart failure because pregabalin may cause peripheral edema and weight gain. You should not take more than the prescribed dose as Pregabalin 75 MG Capsules can form a habit and may cause side effects.

Apolar 75 mg capsules belong to the group of antiepileptic drugs and may also be used in combination with other drugs to treat certain types of seizures (seizures). Sometimes medicines are not safe when you take them with certain other medicines and foods.
