Characteristics of entrepreneurship
Students assume the role of entrepreneurs selling clothes online and in retail stores as a part of Fundamentals of Entrepreneurship, a gamified business simulation. By following the guidance of a business coach, the player will be able to build a successful business venture in a virtual neighbourhood. Through completing learning modules and tests, the player will be able to upgrade their store and operations. Through self-paced gameplay, students learn about Finance, Human Resources, Marketing, Health and Safety, and Risk Management. During this process, they acquire the skills necessary to run a company as they upgrade their operation by completing learning modules and quizzes. Students can create their own avatars and design their own stores within the game, allowing them a personalized playing experience.
