He's thrown 12 touchdowns and 11 interceptions against Baltimore, which is not exactly a stat line befitting the winningest quarterback in NFL history.

“Zeke Elliot just gets better and better,” defensive coordinator Steve Spagnuolo said. “I thought that he was pretty good when we played him the first week, but he gets better and better. There isn’t anything that I can say about him that hasn’t been said. The guy leads the league in rushing for a lot of different reasons, but mainly because he is a good football player.”

Philadelphia Eagles: Safety Malcolm Jenkins raised a fist over his head during the national anthem before Sunday's game against the Redskins. He has been protesting since Week 2 against the Chicago Bears. Cornerback Ron Brooks typically protests with him but has not been present on the sideline the past seven games, after undergoing surgery to repair a ruptured quad tendon. Jenkins recently discussed at length his reasons for protesting. -- Tim McManus

"What they do isn’t rocket science," Smith said. "It’s just they execute well, and they’re very well-coached. When they catch a 5-yard crossing route, they get extra yards. I think that’s what helps their offense go so well. On our part, we have to be a great tackling defense and a very physical defense that helps stop what Brady does.”

Los Angeles Rams: Defensive end Robert Quinn raised his right fist during the national anthem before Sunday's game against the Falcons, as has been his custom since the start of the regular season. Quinn said he will continue to do so regardless of whatever backlash he receives on social media. Said Quinn: "People have the right to voice their opinion. It’s up to you whether you listen to it or not. If people feel bad or feel upset about making a stand, that’s their personal opinion and judgment. The frustrating part for the Ravens is that their efforts against Brady haven't resulted in more wins. Despite keeping him in check, Baltimore has lost seven of 10 meetings with Brady.

3. Goff looks like a rookie, but shows an occasional sign that maybe, just maybe this will work out. While the Rams were being torn down from every which way -- deep bombs to wide open wideouts such as Taylor Gabriel didn't help the competition -- Goff hit receivers on quick plays and connected a couple of times on deeper passes, including one that was nullified thanks to offensive pass interference on Brian Quick. But for every positive completion, there were the passes Goff sailed beyond open receivers, and the half-beat too long he often took while under pressure. Goff even scored a rushing touchdown, but was pulverized between two defenders at the goal line. The rough development continues.

2. Bradford's steady performance kept the Vikings in control for most of the game even though the Jaguars (2-11) held a brief lead in the second half. The veteran connected on 24 of 34 passes for 292 yards and a touchdown to help end the Vikings' two-game losing streak and keep Minnesota in the NFC North title chase. It marked a strong return for Mike Zimmer, who missed last week's game after undergoing surgery for a detached retina in his right eye.
