Most of the women are working today. So, amount of the hours spent in cooking is less. But all women want to serve good food to their families. Henceforth, they have taken the help of some kitchen appliances, which make their cooking easier and less time taking.

Let us name some appliances, which are commonly used are sandwich maker, pressure cooker, microwave ,dishwasher, food processor , rice cooker, hand blender, mixer grinder, electric kettle. All these are used to make the work of the cook easy, since the actual cooking time is more because of making of ingredients.

To describe with, in rice cooker we just put the rice, with measured amount of water and switch on. No need of pouring out the excess water, we get fluffy rice .In the meantime, we can do whatever work we want to , no alertness of simmering of gas oven, or water pouring out.

Another example of boiling fast is by pressure cooker. Put anything into it, and it gets boiled easily and saves fuel also. The savings of fuel is must nowadays, when energy consumption of non-renewable energy is a must.

The hand blender is used for blending any type of mix, be it for cake or omelette or Gulab jamun. Gone are the days, when blending made our hands pain and wondering whether cakes will be fluffy or not.

Rest, electric kettle is for warming water, mixer grinder for grinding spices or making juices etc.

The dishwasher is also used nowadays, to save post cooking time. All the utensils, may be it crockery or steel utensils are washed by the motor inside the machine, saving time and hands of the cooking lady.

Another mostly used appliance is portable smoothie blender or USB portable blender, which is used for making fruit smoothie’s very popular in restaurants nowadays. This appliance has made all the mommy’s equipped to make tasty smoothies for their fussy kids. Thanks to the technology which enables things to be easier.
