PWC was commissioned by the Department for Business, Innovation, and Chops (BIS) to conduct a cyber-security check with UK companies. The end was to identify trends, specific pitfalls and to make mindfulness of the pitfalls to business. The results showed that security breaches were growing, particularly amongst SMEs. Large businesses were facing a significant attack every many days, leading to losses of finances and data. Despite this, utmost businesses were floundering to keep up with updates to security measures. 
 
The biggest cause of security breaches comes from workers, who are frequently ignorant of the implicit issues of simple conduct. These include transferring information between home and work computers via USB sticks, using weak watchwords to pierce confined data, and logging onto social media spots on a work computer. The PWC check suggests that 36 of the worst breaches were a result of the mortal error. Despite this 42 of the large organizations surveyed did not give security training for their staff.
