pros - good looking graphics - puzzles and mini games are mostly enjoyable. they are not so easy or difficult - intriguing and exciting story - cool background musics - hidden object elements are fun. - well made cut scenes - there is auto save - there are steam achievements cons - there are some frustrating trial/error puzzles. fortunately you can skip if you don't want to solve them. - there is no travelling map - main character's bad voice acting this is an decent hog game.. 12 HoG's (a nice mix of standard, reverse and hybrid games). - 32 Mini-Game puzzles, two of which are quite a challenge. - Nice BGM. - Has voice acting, which for the most part is fairly decent, although there are a few moments of gross over or under reacting on the part of the main protagonist. - Above average story/plot. - Has aged well, could even pass for being created last year, let alone 5 years ago. - Short, the story could have easily been fleshed out far more than it is. - Easy to 100% Score 7.5/10 My video walkthrough and 100% achievement guide.. There's a lot to like about casual point-and-click adventure: diverse locales, exciting story, great graphics, and a few fun hidden-object scenes, as well as easy mini-games. There's even a cheesy goth theme song. Fans of the genre would enjoy this. There are some stand-out elements. First of all, it's, like, the girliest of the girliest of themes. We already know these games target a female audience, but having you play as a stunning fashion designer is laying it on a bit thick. hope you enjoy arranging fashion collections and refusing to get dirty. And obviously all the women-warrior-heroes look like supermodels. There are also some nice ideas for mechanics involving combat and magic, which unfortunately are barely used. There are two problems: one is that it's too short and easy. The other is that there's a major production blunder for the English voice acting. It's usually fine, but once in a while the protagonist's voice is replaced with this bizarre shrill other voice that I imagine was a placeholder during development. Either they forget to replace those audio clips, or they just didn't finish the production. A decent game. Intesting variations on hidden object puzzles. Other puzzles range from trivial to easy except for a couple of them. There's a little more story than usual. The map does not become available until part way into the game. The only thing I didn't care for was some of the voice acting of the main character. It was kind of all over the place emotionally. Expect 4 hours of gameplay. It's easy to get all achievements except one the first time through. (Mainly they're just story progression achievements.) No bonus chapter.. Fun game, put more adventure game than hidden object. Also seemed a bit short, kind of ended suddenly just after all the mechanics were learned.. Not bad, quite interesting.. Overall a pretty standard HOG/Puzzle game with decent production values. However, some of the design and item interaction choices the developers made were infuriating. Oh there's something in the dirt *click* "I don't want to get my hands dirty" like girl you are literally chasing demons, where're your priorities at? "There's something under the rug" then pull the rug up dumbass it's a damn rug! Oh I need scissors to cut the completely unanchored and liftable rug, of course. If you've played Artifex Mundi's and Five-BN's entire catalogues and need to get your HOG fix, buy it. Otherwise play something better.
