Diablo 2 Resurrected: Learnings and Changes Based on the Technical Alpha Test

Recently, Blizzard Entertainment has reported Diablo 2 Resurrected Technical Alpha learnings after collecting feedback from players who attended the Alpha Test in April.

This news means players are one step closer to the game's actual launch by trying hard on every aspect because the game developers and players can communicate from the Technical Alpha. It's like there's a bridge. Through it, developers can
quickly get most people's views. And players can share their experiences and show their eagerness for the game. All these make Diablo 2 Resurrected stay popular, which would honor the legacy of the original, being better and more reminiscent
in the future.

The developers are learning from players, and players get game updates from the developers. They both push the process and bring more cautious improvements. Based
on the Technical Alpha Test in April,
there will be many updates, including Diablo 2 Resurrected Items, user
interface settings, VFX, etc. If you preordered Diablo
II: Resurrected, you could step into the early access beta in August. And all
players may have the chance to confront the demons of the Burning Hells in the
open beta to experience these updates.

VFX

Players may want to display mighty power to foil danger for better effects of hell and a more reminiscent game experience. They also wish to defeat some more dangerous monsters to show their heroic. But how
can we display this? You maybe already have thought of the scene. If you have
the power of nature, such as lighting, wind,
water, hail, you must want the strong breaking force, the loud sound, or the glare of light. Yes, players want realistic and
exquisite effects. So, according to the feedback
of gamers, lots of skills in-game have better design, such as the Sorceress's Blizzard
and Lighting, the Paladin's Holy Freeze, Monster Targets.

Item Colors

The Diablo II item colors are a little gray in Technical Alpha. The color of the potion icons seems covered with fog. So following the players' request, d2 item colors have been more brilliant and more clear.

User Interface Settings

Players can have the discretion to toggle item names on or off, and the compare tooltip can also be toggled on or off in user interface settings.

The Shared Stash will now have three tabs with 100 slots each rather than just one.

The readability of automap has been improved.

The initial map settings will be a single map option with three settings - left-minimap, right-minimap, and center-fullscreen.

There are also other updates. The above are just some examples of improvements based on the players' feedback. If you have your own thoughts through the Alpha Test, you can share them on the official
Diablo II forums
.

This is what MmoGah shares today. We hope that is useful. And if you are interested in finding out more news about Diablo II: Resurrected, you can visit our website.
