Specialityvalve is the main Diaphragm valve manufacturer in India. Diaphragm valves are open-close valves that can operate in both directions. They regulate the area via which media can enter and exit the valve, influencing the liquid's speed and velocity. The name "membrane" valve comes from the fact that it is controlled by a thin, flexible membrane that opens and closes the valve.

Metals such as stainless steel, plastics, and even single-use materials can be used to build them. Diaphragm valves use a linear compressor, similar to pinch valves, to bring a thin diaphragm into contact with the valve body. They can be manually or automatically operated and enable discrete and variable pressure control. Diaphragm valves are ideal for moderate pressure and temperature applications needing stop/start fluid control because they are clean, leak-proof, easy to maintain, safe, and effective.

Advantages of Diaphragm Valves
• They can function as on-off and throttling service valves.
• Provide good chemical resistance due to the wide range of linings available.
• Stem leakage is no longer an issue.
• Provides service that is bubble-tight.
• There are no pockets to catch solids, slurries, or other impurities. It works well with slurries and viscous fluids.

Industries that use Diaphragm Valves
• Water and Wastewater.
• Power.
• Pulp and Paper.
• Chemical.
• Cement.
• Mining and Minerals.
