What is Pokésav you ask? Pokésav is a program that allows you to edit the save files of your Pokémon Diamond, Pearl, Platinum, HeartGold, Soulsilver, Black and White games. It was developed by a Japanese programmer who goes by the name of COM. Each game has its respective version. However, they are edited in the same manner as the previous version. In order to upload your save files, you must first own a flashcart or alternatively use an emulator.

These false readings occur, because of the way Pokésav was translated. You may recall that Pokésav was originally created by a Japanese programmer named COM. Traditionally, the original source code of a program is modified, when translations are performed. But, since COM does not wish to share his source code, the method that is used to translate Pokésav, is what mistakes most antiviruses into thinking that it is a false/dangerous program.
