Patients have lots of questions, and doctors can’t always answer them all. Some questions come up during appointments, while others pop into your head later. These can be worrying or stressful. But what if there was a way for patients to get answers and chat with providers in real-time, either by text or video?… Ever heard of a patient portal software before?

Well, in technical terms, they are internet websites or mobile apps paired with an EHR. But more on that later, For now, let us…

Does anybody have any advice as to how to identify what is causing this error in my Content Server? Is it something only Oracle can fix, or does this look like something I can modify within the patch files? I searched through all .idoc files in the patch and replaced them with the revisions from MLR 5 but did not have any luck.

idocscript/6 06.28 12:44:21.781 IdcServer-879 An error occurred while evaluating: . Offset in runtime evaluation is at character 3. Unable to Unable to evaluate function (Err). 'getFieldViewDisplayValue'. No attribute defined for referenced data object .
idocscript/6 06.28 12:44:21.781 IdcServer-879 No resource include or function stack for error.
I have identified an error that was introduced in a patch set provided by Oracle. This particular error is an IdocScript error that appears in the system audit info section every time a search is performed in the Content Server when OracleTextSearch is enabled. This includes queries made directly in the Content Server, queries made over RIDC, and even queries executed through dynamic list elements. Because of this, I will get errors in my system audit logs any time somebody goes to a page that uses a dynamic list to populate the page.
Second, how critical is this error? If it's just a notification, then I'm okay with running MLR 15 in my production environment and just turning idocscript logging off in the system audit information section. What I'm primarily worried about is will this error eventually start to cause problems with my instance after one, two, or ten million occurrences between recycles.

To replicate, configure OracleTextSearch on WebCenter Content version 11.1.1.8 that's running the MLR patch 6 or greater. Perform a search with idocscript logging enabled and you will see this error (one error per account returned in the result set):
When I originally saw this error on 11.1.1.8.15 and identified that it was patch-related, I applied each MLR patch one-by-one. MLR5 was the latest patch that I had applied before receiving the errors on MLR 6.
