PC: download the download lists for the maps. 6. Server: Directs you to the URL in the Server.cfg or Defaut.cfg. 7. PC: connected to the web server URL. 8. WEBserver: What maps do you want to download? 9. PC: gives the names in the download list. 10. Webserver: Sorry, we don’t have those maps.
User: use the username you registered you FTP a. Password: Use your user password.

Oke, to make fast download you need a webspace server. If you haven’t one u can get one for FREE ‘http://www.funpic.org/’. It’s very important you have a host which allows you to have .bsp files! Because .bsp is the file extension of your map. Now open your ftp client, (I recommend filezilla) if your host doesn’t give you ftp access to your file, do it with the menu they give you.

How to make a fast dl server ithout errors.
Account: I don’t really know what it is. But for u better fill in the username you used earlier. Now hit connect, it will load some scripts and after 10 seconds u you will be ready! If you get an error from your host, check the information you filled in. if that’s correct check your host’s website.
Even not with the Server.cfg. They give you the ‘famous’ error: “Missing map ’mapname’, Disconnecting” I will show you how to fix this! This is how it works:
Replace YourHost.com with your Web server URL Save it. And do it with all your download lists. .lst Restart your server. And delete all your maps you used in your server, from your local Computer. Connect to the game server.
now. Check if sv_allowdownload is set to 1. VNC = sv_allowdownload 1 (For those who watched other tutorials where they said something about sv_allowupload 1 .. it’s not really necessary but if you think it helps….)
So it should look like this: sv_downloadurl “http://yourwebhost.com”
Now go to connect On your Left Top.
On some game server everything will be done now, but one some server the server don’t Redirect you to the web server automatically…
A new window should popup now. In that window you’ll find a tab ‘general’ fill in your FTP information. Host: find it at the account information page at your host’s website Port: default is 21 but if your host gave you a different one use that one.

(Its easier to put them all in one map) drag them into your downright view. It will now upload your maps to the web server! Once that’s finished, we are almost done! Oke! We are done at the web server! Try to access your files true your web browser. For me its http://gameforce.ga.funpic.org/ , and check if you can browse thru your folders: cstrike – maps – and then u will see your .BSP files! Try clicking one, if you are able to download it you have full access and then it’s possible to run your Fast DL!

Oke, go to your Game Server. Menu, VNC it doesn’t really matter. Open your Server.cfg or Defaut.cfg under the CFG folder in your Cstrike. (Remember. I’m talking about the GAME SERVER NOW!) in the window you’ll see lots of drawdown menus.. In VNC you’ll see a lot of parameters. Try searching ‘sv_downloadurl’
Oke! now we arrived at the part we are going to ‘imitate’ your game server. Which means we are going to create all folders with exists on your game server, on out web server. So. Go to the downright window and right click, make new folder. Call it ‘cstrike’
