Effect of intermediate annealing on HTCR5052 aluminum alloy - conclusion

1) During the isothermal recrystallization process at the same temperature, the incubation period of the HTCR5052 aluminum sheet after intermediate annealing is shorter, and the time required to complete the recrystallization process is also shorter;
2) After intermediate annealing of the HTCR5052 alloy plate, the grain size decreases and the grain boundary increases; the grain boundary is a favorable position for recrystallization nucleation, and the increase of the grain boundary is conducive to the completion of the recrystallization process;
3) The cubic-oriented grains formed during the intermediate annealing process of the HTCR5052 alloy sheet did not completely rotate to the rolling orientation during the subsequent cold-rolling process, and the remaining part of the cubic-oriented grains and subgrains acted as the core of recrystallization to promote the cold rolling process. After the crystallization process is completed;
4) The recrystallization activation energy of the plate after intermediate annealing is 36.2kJ/mol lower than that of the alloy without intermediate annealing, and the intermediate annealing treatment significantly reduces the recrystallization activation energy of the alloy plate.
