Filter sand tank is a kind of pressure filter container. The cylinder body is made of glass fiber reinforced material, which is strong, wear-resistant, corrosion-resistant and not easy to deform. According to the structure, it can be divided into three types: top out filter sand tank, side outlet filter sand tank, commercial large sand tank, horizontal sand tank, etc. The unique design of the water distributor can stabilize the water flow evenly, and the efficiency of the drainage system of the culvert is high. It is easy to install and maintain.
The structure of the filter sand tank is relatively simple, with a fine water distributor inside, which can prevent the sand from losing from the backwater, and the external sand tank head can easily convert the functions of filtering and backwashing. There are three ports on the sand tank head, which are water inlet, outlet and sewage. The three interfaces are connected by live connection, which can quickly install and remove the pipeline. After high-pressure treatment of water into the cylinder body, through the sand layer, the water distributor with fine holes can prevent the sand from entering the water outlet, and the sand layer can isolate and filter the suspended particles in the water. The counter current pools filter sand tank is equipped with sand tank head, which is the so-called multi-directional valve, which can easily control the flow direction for flushing and backwashing. Quartz sand, activated carbon and even biochemical filter materials can be used as filter media in the sand tank. If the filter material is biochemical filter material, the sand tank can be used as biological filter.

Check before starting the machine:

- if the pressure gauge reading on the filter sand cylinder is higher than 2.5kg/cm2 or more, backwash the filter sand cylinder immediately;

- confirm the need for backwashingThe relevant water pump of sand cylinder has stopped running;

-- adjust the multi-way valve on the filter sand cylinder to the backwashing state;

Backwash sequence

first run the water pump; check and observe the water mirror on the sand cylinder until the water is clean; then turn off the water pump.

Note: if it is impossible to check the backwashing water, the appropriate duration of each backwash is 2-3 minutes.
