he Penguins' roster is stacked with familiar the Stanley Cup names

Emily Kaplan: The Penguins' roster is stacked with familiar the Stanley Cup names, including two current mind instructors (Dave Tippett and
Rick The
Penguins' roster
Tocchet) and a GM (Ron Francis), not forgetting Jaromir
Jagr, Mario Lemieux and 1990s ubervillain Ulf Samuelsson. Because the Rangers
would win the Stanley Cup a year later, their roster includes a couple of fan
favorites. But I was most amused viewing Joby Messier play along with his second
cousin Mark Messier on the Rangers. Joby was a previous Michigan Condition
defenseman, and his NHL profession lasted just 25 games over three seasons
(which also included four assists and 24 penalty mins). Based on the New York
Times, both Messiers weren't exactly close. "It could be a thrill to play on a
single ice with Tag Messier," Joby Messier informed the Times in 1992. "We don't
really know one another all that well. I most likely know Jaromir
Jagr, Mario Lemieux
much more about him than he is aware of me." Greg
Wyshynski: The best random Ranger is Corey Hirsch, playing one of is own four
career online games with the Blueshirts -- well, 40 a few minutes of a game, in
least. A "goalie into the future" who was simply stuck in the rear of Mike
Richter and John Vanbiesbrouck on the depth chart, he would be transferred by
the Rangers 2 yrs later on to the Canucks for Nathan LaFayette, and he'd play
101 video games in four seasons.
