Every winter season, I seem like it has gotten colder than the year prior to. Maybe it is due to the fact that every year, I age and my metabolism decreases. This year, I decided to determine how to remain warm in bed. My blankets are not any warmer and I didn't wish to change blankets so I chose to attempt other methods. Here is what I tried and what appeared to work for me.
The only thing was that I didn't get to feel the softness of my down blanket against my bed warmer non electric body - something that I really delight in. I didn't feel as appealing going to bed, something that I like to feel as well, specifically with my hubby sleeping next to me. Next, I attempted wearing these silk pajamas.
Heated blanket: Although I enjoy my blankets, I decided to include a heated blanket beneath them just for my body. The heated blanket worked too well.
Cashmere bed socks: This was another alternative advised to me by a friend. Initially, when she mentioned it, I had no concept what cashmere bed socks were. I learned that they specify socks that you can buy to use to bed. Obviously, you don't need to buy these socks and you can constantly simply wear any pair of cotton socks to bed, but these are made specifically to keep your feet warm all night. I actually attempted wearing these with my shorts and t-shirt and discovered that it made a huge distinction in how warm I felt. Remarkably, these worked truly well and I didn't have to fear a fire or change what I typically wore. Of course wearing socks to bed felt a little foreign to me at first, however eventually I got used to it.
