Beside the controls, which I find somewhat lacking in terms of Senua's movement, though really easy to pick up. This is truely a fantastic game!
The graphics, the sounds, the atmosphere are all stunning! The story is so immersive. Her anxiety becomes so relatable. I haven't been this high on a game, since when I first played TES: Oblivion!

Hellblade: Senua's Sacrifice has an unique story...a very emotional one to be precise, it also gives you a strong personal message towards the end of the game, which i won't say !
I would give it a strong 8\/10.

-Incredible and unique sound effects combined with beautiful ingame graphics.
-the story is fantastic !
-the puzzles forces you to actually use your brain !!! ( not like the many other new mainstream games where you just press mouse1 and kill everybody )
-a very strong and also unique atmosphere

cons:the puzzles could sometimes be annoying(but the game doesnt last long, so lets just appreciate the game instead of whining to every single thing present right ? :)

. Please ignore every review that says this game is a "walking simulator," as these people are trying to approach big ideas with small minds. This is a beautiful work of art. It's more than a game. It's an experience-- a story. It is absolutely worth every penny. It is a beautiful story about death and acceptance, even on the darkest of terms. It's worth more than money. It's worth time.. NO WORDS TO DESCRIBE THIS GAME BUT AMAZING. It's been a while since I was last glued to the screen like this. The game isn't perfect, but it's still an amazing experience and a gem in the current market full of live service games that feel more like a day job than fun. Atmospheric, gritty, deep, haunting, with a wonderful believable protagonist. The research that went into it and how the game achieved to weave the "mechanics" of psychosis into it's gameplay is astounding, even though in some cases the result repeats itself a little too often and the riddles, especially in the early game, can get a little annoying. I found some of the early areas a little lacking. The fights are tough for someone not used to action games - I'm not - and it took me some key rebindings and training until I knew what I was doing, but people used to controllers and action games shouldn't have a problem. I can only recommend to keep trying, the experience is well worth it. Watching the making of afterwards is also quite interesting. On the technical side the game looks amazing, Senua is perfect, the areas atmospheric, although not quite as realistic as the minimum requirements might suggest (which are btw a little higher than the actual demands of the game it seems). If I had one major nitpick it'd be that I think the pop song during the end credits felt totally out of place, otherwise there's probably not much replay value and the game is very linear, but that's quite okay for this story. 8\/10. A scary yet amazing adventure, neat atmosphere, dark souls like fighting and voice acting that will give you goosebumps.. I'm speechless..... This is by far the absolute best game I have ever had the pleasure of experiencing, I mean experiencing in every sense of the word, you don't play it you live it, I am sad that it is over and hope there will be more. I found the story both gripping and sad and felt a genuine connection with Senua and that made me fight even harder to help her with her quest.
Thank you NINJA THEORY for such an amazing experience WOW!. I was fighting for my life against vikings in hell with tears in my eyes. I never cared this much for the well-being of a video game character.. Left speechless as the credits roll. Absolutely stunning experience.

Going to be real hard to find something to top that game now.. Them voices man.
