If players want armour and tools I have to make 144 new items. That will take quite a while.

How do you install it? Do you drag the files to the minecraft.jar or just put the zip file in the mods directory? :/

In response to the furnace and crafting table, I was thinking about making a "furnace" called a gem cutter which would cut gems into a more pleasing form. I like the idea of an enchanter furnace, I'll think of a possible fuel, possibly gem fragments.

I'm tempted to get back into modding again, I've heard modding is a lot different compared to 1.2.5 so I'll have to figure out how to do it all again. I might update this mod for newer versions of Minecraft if I can find the time.

Ok now the fun part. put ANY gem in a 2 by 2 square in the gem tabe to get the condensed version of the gem. from there you put that version in the enchanter furnace to get the enchanted version of the gem. from there you can make tools and such.

Possibly, but that will take a very long time. Think, there are 16 materials each with 5 tools. 16*5=80. That's 80 new items I need to code and organise. Then if people want armour that's another 64 items to make.

Hi. I have 2. questions: 1-can you add some pickaxes (axe's) (shovels) etc. 2-can you add more usefull stuff. also by the spears (enchantet spear makes fire..) by the other spears other uses. Mfg. Seraph.
with enchanted melantite again you put it in the same recipe as a furnace in the gem table to get the enchanter furnace. I'll explain it later.
Ok im back and i have a HUGE update you could make but would make this the epicest mod ever.
Minecraft has stopped running because it encountered a problem.
Now, lets use topaz as an example. you make 8 topaz septers. then put them around an enchanted topaz gem to get the enchanted topaz septer. then put the new septer above an enchanted topaz sword and another enchanted topaz gem to get the septsword. it does insane damage along with other things up to you. I think this would be an AWESOME addition to the mod or if the gem table and enchanting furnace are to complicated just do it in the normal ones. i hope you add this. plus you could add a new fuel or something. i hope you listen to the ideas. I like the idea of making enchanted sceptres with the use of non-enchanted sceptres, I shall look into that.

Making new containers (that's the coding name for crafting tables and furnaces) is tricky but I shall see what I can do.

ok first, enchanted melantite in a pattern like you would put wood planks to get a crafting table gets you the gem tabe(or whatever you want the name to be) in it you can craft lots of things dif. tools and such but on to the next thing.
