Whether you want to live on the moon, or you simply have an interest in building property on the moon, you'll find plenty of information to help you along. You'll discover information on how to obtain land on the moon, what it costs to build property on the moon, and whether you can legallyBuild property on moon.

Legality
Several nations have proposed plans to build outposts on the moon in the next several decades. The commercial space industry is also casting its eyes towards Earth's only natural satellite.

Several private companies have been selling plots of land on the moon since the 1950s. These plots are marketed to speculators. Several celebrities have reportedly purchased into the scheme.

The legality of building property on the moon is a matter of debate. It is a complex matter because of international law. Some scholars believe that it should be treated differently than Earth-bound properties, while others claim that it is impossible for private individuals to claim lunar property without legal backing.

The Outer Space Treaty is the international legal framework for space affairs. The treaty aims to create a space regime wherein all nations can enjoy the benefits of space. The treaty includes provisions governing scientific research, international space exploration, and weapons testing.

Outer Space Treaty ambiguity
Despite the existence of the Outer Space Treaty (OST), there is a lack of clarity in regards to jurisdiction in outer space. It creates room for competing states to claim jurisdiction over space and for justice to be difficult to achieve.

The OST's ambiguous provisions undermine the notion of space as a global commons. It also provides room for states to evade obligations and circumvent rules. The lack of specificity in the OST could reinforce the US's dominance in space.

The Outer Space Treaty (OST) provides states with a framework for exploration and commercial activities in outer space. It also governs the use of celestial bodies such as the moon. It is commonly referred to as the Magna Carta of international space law. However, the treaty has significant ambiguities that threaten to undermine its intent.

Galactic government
Whether or not you're in the market for a new home or have an eye on the moon, Spaceport America and Virgin Galactic have you covered. They are both anchor tenants. New Mexico has invested $200 million in the new Spaceport. Some of the largest construction projects include the new Jedi Temple and the Defense Force Command Compound. These are both slated to open in the coming months. Spaceport America is a major hub for the space industry and is the future of the US space industry. Until recently, the space industry was largely dominated by a few big name companies. However, the influx of start-ups has changed that. With the advent of space tourism, the industry is gaining momentum. Spaceport America is the future of space travel and will be a vital hub for both commerce and tourism.

Cost of shipping building materials to the moon
Developing a lunar base is an ambitious undertaking. It is estimated that a permanent lunar base will cost as much as $35 billion.

To construct a base on the Moon, the materials will have to be shipped from Earth. Astronauts will need a place to stay that will provide them with shelter and protect them from the dangerous radiation of the sun and cosmic rays. In addition, the base will need a source of power.

Astronauts will also need protection from small meteorites. A cave would allow them to stay safe. It would also provide a habitat to protect them from UV radiation. These caves would have to be underground.

In addition, lunar bases will need machinery to operate. These machines will weigh between 200 kilograms and 6,000 pounds. The weight of these machines will also be increased by the weight of the radiation shielding that will be needed.

New documentary follows people who have dedicated their lives to the moon
Using archival material culled from the likes of NASA and the CIA, Robert Stone's film recasts the space age as a kaleidoscope of colors and emotions. Its biggest claim to fame is that it features the largest cast of characters since the Apollo program's inception, including the first black astronaut and the youngest woman in Mission Control.

The film's real strength is its use of a baffling array of data, which it gleefully sifts out in interesting ways. Its best moments are when it turns the unimaginative into the enlightened. Its blemishes are a lack of depth, a weak sense of style, and a slew of snarky reviewers. The movie could have been better if it had a clear cut mission statement, a clear cut budget, and a definite timetable.
