How to Get Rid of AddressBookSourceSync?

AddressBookSourceSync irritates the users a lot as it is continuously pop-up on the display screen and continuously asks for permission. Mac users face several issues on their devices that include Slowness, Constant freezes, and crashes because of the error. All these issues use all the resources of the Mac, which results in a reduction in the device’s performance. Although several users have tried updating the OS, change their accounts username, but still, they are facing the issues.
Here in this workaround, we are sharing ways to solve these AddressBookSourceSync issues. We have only methods that are reliable and safe for your device.
Solutions for AddressBookSourceSync Issues
There are several users that said they are facing this issue soon after they have upgraded their Operating system to 10.7.1. They used Activity Monitor to fix this problem; however, sometimes it doesn’t work. The best solution for this issue is to run a scan for Anti-Malware, although several people claim and state that iOS devices are very secure and cannot be infected by malware. Being an optimist is a good thing, but it is always suggested to be prepared as your safety is in your hands. There must be many files that need to be repaired, specifically those with virus damage, so you need to scan your device.
Fixing the Slowness Issue
As discussed above, the AddressBookSourceSync provides several issues in the device contacts system. One of them is slow performance. Here, we are sharing ways to fix the slowness issue:
Open the Contacts in your device.
Go to the Menu bar appearing at the top of your device display.
After locating the menu bar, you need to choose the option for “File.”
As you access the File option, you need to select the Export option from it.
Now, go for the option of Contacts Archive and tap on it.
After this, choose a specific location and name for the file you want to save.
Hover down and open the icloud.com.
Now, you need to check and make sure that all your contacts are there.
To proceed further, you need to open the Activity Monitor and check whether the AddressBookSourceSync is running or not.
Now, double-click and tap on the option for Quit.
Visit ~/Library/Application Support/Address Book/.
After visiting, you need to tap on the option for the Go menu in the Finder. While doing it, make sure you hold down the option key.
Now, select everything except Plist and tap on the delete option.
Now, locate the System Preferences option and tap on the iCloud tab.
After a while, go and find the option of Contacts and check off.
It is recommended to recheck the box.
Wait till the sync boot up.
