IIT JEE preparation tips : Registrations drop to 9.34 lakhs for JEE Main 2020

IIT JEE preparation tips: Until 2018, JEE-Mains was held in just 1 session since its debut in 2013. Even though the registrations stood in 11.89 lakh at 2018, the figure was 11.86 like at 2017.

Registrations into the initial stage of Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Mains finished last week along with the National Testing Agency (NTA) published information on the identical late on Monday. Total registrations dipped with a tiny amount this season, compared to 2019 since 9.34 lakh candidates enrolled for the examination compared to 9.41 final year.

Statistics further show that complete enrollment in the open group has dropped by nearly 90,000 candidates as a result of addition of the economically weaker section (EWS) class, which wasn’t included in the initial phase of the examination in 2019, campaigning for 81,000 enrolled pupils for the January 2020 session.

The examination will once more be held in two stages and also in online format only, the initial stage will occur between January 6 and 11, 2020. Outcomes for the exact same will be declared by the end of January.

Total female applicants registering for the initial page of JEE mains had gone up with several thousands. By 2.75 lakh female candidates who appeared for the examination in January 2019, over 2.90 each female will probably be looking to the January 2020 examination.
