Find a dream team and build an idea.

TeamUp is a pilot program by Aaltoes for anyone interested in creating or joining a startup team.
We help you connect with people who share your passions and ambitions.
We give you access to the best tools to jumpstart your idea and evolve it into an actual business.
The program happens over a course of two months, but the best teams will receive an automatic spot on Summer of Startups, so that they can continue their work while also being financially supported over the summer months.

Phase 1: TeamUp Bootcamp 4.-6.3.2016 Has ended

• What: 56 hour event where we assemble individuals into teams and help them develop their ideas over the weekend.
  The bootcamp ends with a pitching day, where teams present their ideas to a board of judges.
• For who?:Everyone who has the right entrepreneurial mindset. It doesn't matter if you don't have an idea or team. This event is free and open for all.
• Where: At Startup Sauna, the focal point of Finnish entrepreneurship. Betonimiehenkuja 3 D, 02150 Espoo
• When: The first weekend of March, 4.-6.3.2016

Connect

• Connect with people who share your ambitions and dreams.
• Network and discuss things you are the most interested about.
• Try to find people who have a similar vision, but offer a completely different skill-set to the table.
• Remember, to find an amazing team to bring an idea to life with, you will need to step out of your comfort zone.

Saturday

Learn & Build

• Learn from multiple speakers during the day on subjects that are extremely important in every single startup.
• Build your minimum viable product.
• Get unique coaching sessions with Startup Saunas esteemed coaches.
• Get free access to the best tools to help you along your journey.

Sunday

Pitch

• Pitch to a host of accomplished and insightful judges.
• Teams are not only valuated by their idea in itself, but also by multiple other factors, such as the team, the pitch, etc.
• Best teams will continue on to the next phase.

Phase 2: Sea

April 2. 2016
A 24h event with cruise on international seas. Teams who have got this far get a unique opportunity in developing their idea even further.

Phase 3: Air

April 22-23. 2016
The finalist teams will get on board a plane to one of the biggest startup ecosystems in Europe. There they will have a chance to network with people from different backgrounds, including VCs, Angel Investors, and other startups.

Phase 4: Fire

The program's ultimate fire-trial. Can the teams who've survived this far survive the heat of the Summer of Startups?
