Yeah it could fool someone who doesn't know about computers.
But once the fun wears out, is not fun anymore. I wish it will have a way to restart at a preset time or at windows start up. Then it would scare the pants off of anyone unaware of what's going on.

looks real, works grate, user friendly and can fool anybody.
when you install it and open it for the first time it let's you customize it, but that is your last chance to customize it. once you hit okay, that's it, it's set forever. if you want to change it up, you have to uninstall it and then reinstall it.
if your looking for a practical joke to play on the nerd in your life, i say go with this one. aside from the con mentioned, it is a grate joke. nearly gave my sister a heart attack when she saw her hard-drive was being deleted *wink**wink*

The icon on the left side of the bar is what you click to reopen the properties window. Therefore, your con is null and void.

Is nice to show activity on desktop, and potentially keep hands off. You can work while it runs. Opportunity to rename the 'progress bar', and you can change small 'gear' icon to whatever you choose. Found Microsoft icon which lends a bit of respect.
Rather simple two-bar activity. While might fool casual observer, some 'techies & geeks' will spot this for what it is.
Would be great (this type of ancient 'gimmick' still has value in a world with more computers and the same idiots likely to grab your desk for a quick Google search - "he won't mind. ") if this could take on a much more sophisticated appearance and provide illusion of full defrag or virus scanning, with a fictitious company name. Needs to lose Win 3.1 look and get dolled-up for contemporary feel. I had three friends ask to have this sent asap when I explained I had it.
