Krav Maga Fight - Are You Ready to Defend Your Life?

In Krav Maga Fighting there are two different types of punches. There are straight punches and heel strikes.

The straight punch is making contact with the fist. When you strike you want to attack with the top two knuckle of the fist, which are the pointer finger and the middle finger. Instead they can defend themselves by striking with the palm of their hand.

As you strike you should always attack with the weapon first. Your hands are your weapons, so you want to strike first and then move you body. Your body always follows the swing of the fist.

Lastly when swinging the fist, you always want to keep your guard up. When you strike with one hand, you want to get your other hand near your face to protect it. The shoulder that is swinging the punch should be up and your chin should be down. That way you are protected on the side you are swinging a punch from as well as from the other side where you have your hand for protection.
