Leaker suggests that Samsung Galaxy S11 will actually be S20-but we don't believe it

The Samsung Galaxy S11 is one of the most anticipated smartphones of 2020, but one of the most respected names in the phone leak has already made people uneasy about whether they will use the Galaxy S11 name.

That person is @UniverseIce, a prolific leaker who often corrects it so much that it must be taken seriously. Ice Universe posted a simple tweet saying "Galaxy S20" and then saying "Next year is 2020, and 20 is a new beginning"-the news is clear: They say that the Galaxy S11 may qualify as the S20.

How do we evaluate the Samsung Galaxy S10?

What do we expect from Samsung Galaxy Fold 2?

This is not the first time we have heard that the name "Galaxy S11" may be removed, as there were rumors in mid-September 2019 that the Galaxy S and Galaxy Note series will be merged into the Galaxy One in 2020. series. But we haven't heard anything about it since.

So, should you stop frantically searching for 'Samsung Galaxy S11' for the latest news instead of looking for 'Samsung Galaxy S20'? Well, we are not completely convinced that this information is accurate.

So far, we have no evidence that Samsung has committed hatred against the number of teenagers, at least to a certain extent.

Of course, the Galaxy A series went from the Galaxy A9 in 2018 to the A10, A20, A30 (and so on) in 2019, but Samsung has already begun to release successors to these devices, and it seems that the latter is the key change. This means that in 2020, we will see A11, A21, A31, etc., and will also slowly use youth figures.

Although other companies have indeed skipped their teens in terms of phone naming (for example, Huawei went straight from P10 to P20), this does not mean that Samsung will do so.

The only real logic that could happen is the iPhone 11 series-Samsung may want to miss out on the "11 phones" launched a few months later by its competitors than its competitors, so more phones can play a good role in marketing .

But does the implied S11 name really persist? Since the release of the S20 tweet, UniverseIce once again referred to it as the Galaxy S11 when sharing the image of each screen protector.

Still, it's not entirely clear what the company will ultimately do, and Samsung won't be obsessed with any kind of naming convention. We will now continue to call the upcoming phone the Samsung Galaxy S11, but if enough leaks contradict it, that may change.

We will determine what will happen in February 2020, when we expect Samsung to release its new series of Galaxy S phones, but please stay tuned to TechRadar before seeing that future leaks refer to the device.
