Lenny Kravitz has been a well-known watch collector for quite some time, and while most of us know him for his music (and, more recently, acting career), he has run his design firm Kravitz Design for over 13 years. Usually more focused on interior design, this is Kravitz's first foray into watches, and Les Artisans de Genève notes that this process was a true design collaboration with an active hand on every aspect of the process.
These redesigned Rolex Daytona with reference 116523 replica watches are the previous generation Rolex Daytona that first came out in 2000. The 40 mm wide watch runs on the Rolex caliber 4130 movement, which has a 72-hour power reserve. The modifications made by Kravitz and Les Artisans de Genève include a black DLC treatment on the case, as well as a new handmade Bakelite gold bezel. Now, while the timepiece is still the Rolex Caliber 4130, it has been completely obscured and made visible by a purse lid. To accentuate the black, you can see the 22-karat gold rotor and text on both the timepiece and the case back. I think it just looks cool, and I'm sure hands-on images will reveal more about the performance.
