Loog guitars, specially designed for children

Loog guitars have 3 strings and are designed to teach how to play the guitar in 10 lessons. Loog guitars are a line of children's guitars designed to learn to play in an easy, fast and fun way. They include a free app that makes it possible for children to start playing songs from day one after age 3.

Playing songs on guitar can be a daunting task for young beginners. Loog solves this problem: its 3-string guitars reduce the chords to the basic triad, allowing for a faster and easier learning process.

Loog guitars, specially designed for children
With a Loog guitar, children can play songs the first day, feeling rewarded and encouraged to continue playing and learning.

Loog guitars were created by a professional musician and have absolutely nothing to do with the plastic musical toys that we are used to seeing in toy stores.

Far from being a toy, the Loogs have a unique design, quality materials and excellent manufacturing. And they sound great!
The Uruguayan invention that captivates the world

The Uruguayan musician Rafael Atijas is the inventor of this instrument called Loog Guitar, designed so that children can learn to play the guitar in an easy and entertaining way: “the minimum for that are three strings and good materials”, says Atijas.

The creator's project began as a thesis at New York University and was launched at Kickstarter in March 2011. He needed $ 15,000 and raised 65,000. It currently has over 10,000 Loog Guitars manufactured.

The key to its success? Its unique design and the quality of sound. The invention has even interested adult musicians of international fame. And it is that, according to the words of its creator: “guitars for children with Spider-Man or with Hello Kitty there are millions. They sound bad and don't tune. For this guitar to compete with the world, it had to be different”.

The guitar maker Loog offers several ranges of guitars, each of which is intended for a certain age range. For example, the Loog mini range is designed for kids from 3 years old (which does not mean that it cannot be used even by adults!).

The Loog mini are ideal as the first guitar: they are the same size as an ukulele and very light. They play and sound like a guitar because they use classical guitar strings and standard guitar tuning.

They are real guitars ideal for small rock stars to take their first steps in music. It is a unique musical instrument, designed with 3 strings to make learning easy and fun.
Thanks to its design, kids can start to form chords and play melodies from day one! The quality of its materials is high, its beautiful aesthetics and its perfect finishes. Its renovated design includes an improved peg box and a maple wood fingerboard.

There is a range of Loog acoustic guitars and also a range of Loog electric guitars that are amazing! There are also various accessories (such as the case or the Loog strap).
Musical instrument, not a toy

Loogs are a musical instrument, not a toy. They are authentic guitars designed in a simplified way to facilitate their use and learning to children. Thus, children who learn to play with Loog can later play any guitar.

Loog guitars use the same tuning system as the others, but limited to the first 3 strings (for which the discovery of the instrument begins). In this way, everything you learn with your Loog can be applied to a standard guitar later.
The perfect transition to the 6-string guitar
Loogs use only the first 3 strings of a guitar: the same strings, the same tuning. This is the reason why the placement of the fingers and everything that is learned in a Loog can also be applied on a 6-string guitar.

It is a perfect transition that allows children to learn on a simple instrument and then play any guitar! And, in case you are considering it, its sound is totally professional!

According to the Rolling Stones Magazine: "This guitar is great for children, but also a challenge for adults." More references? The son of the leader of the Uruguayan rock band No Te Va Gustar, played on stage with his father ... With a Loog Guitar! :)

As if that were not enough, the guitarist and bassist of the legendary Rolling Stone band, Ronnie Wood, has taught his twin daughters music with this Uruguayan 3-string guitar when the kids were not even 2 years old. The famous musician uploaded a video to Twitter where he sees how he teaches them the first chords with a Loog Guitar.

In addition to the guitar and the access to the App that accompanies it, it includes a deck of flashcards (memory cards) with chord diagrams, a simple and efficient way to discover the proper position of The strings and hands on each chord.
