A new range of medium-sized, high-resolution display small oled display has been introduced, with mass production expected to begin in 2021. These display modules will enhance and complement the existing KOE standard product range, which will be phased out by 2025.

Five new TFT display transflective display, all of which feature in-plane switching (IPS), are currently in development, with sample quantities now being made available. Display modules with the following resolutions are available: 10.4" XGA, 10.6" Rugged+ WXGA, 12.1" XGA, 12.1" WXGA, and 15.0" Rugged+ HD.

The following new vatn display will be added to and expanded upon the existing standard product line-up:

a series of XGA (1024 x 768 pixel) resolution display modules with a 4:3 aspect ratio that are available in three different sizes: 6.4", 10.4", and 12.1".

WXGA (1280 x 800 pixel) resolution display TFT display with a 16:10 aspect ratio are available in a wide range of sizes, with the most popular being the 7.0" size, followed by the 8.0" and 10.6" sizes.

Rugged+ modules with a high definition (1920 x 720 pixel) resolution will be available in three different sizes: 10.3", 12.3", and 15.0".

Despite difficult supply chain and market conditions, MACLIGHT saw an increase in demand for medium-sized TFT displays in the first half of 2020. The progressive expansion of the standard product line-up will ensure that MACLIGHT remains fully committed to providing a comprehensive selection of high-quality, technologically advanced TFT displays for a wide range of vertical market applications, as previously stated by the company.

"Throughout the challenging market conditions of the past 12 months, we have seen an increase in demand for many medium-size, high-resolution TFT display modules from all sales regions," said Benson Huang, marketing manager at MACLIGHT. Specifically, we want to reaffirm to our sales channel, distribution partners, existing customers, and those who are launching design-in projects that MACLIGHT is fully committed to ensuring the access and availability of a wide range of standard off the shelf display modules, and most importantly, to providing an ongoing commitment to ensure the continuity and longevity of supply for these display ."
