Have you ever found yourself looking at another person with envy? Have you ever felt jealous when you look at another person's life? Do you wonder why that other person seems to have everything you want and don't have? Do you feel disturbed when you notice the bile of envy rising in your throat? Do you fake admiration and falsely respond at the other person's great good fortune?

Do you inwardly compare yourself and your life negatively? Do you ever seethe with rage that they have what you want? Do you sometimes even feel those feelings, but you hide them in shame? Sometimes though, you may express some hostility at the other persons good "luck"? Does the whole issue of envy cause you a lot of discomfort? Do you feel badly that you feel this way? Here's some ways to turn envy into a positive force.

No, it's not the most commendable of human traits. It is, however, quite common. Most of us have felt at least a twinge of envy in our lives. You can certainly see it when children cry for the toys of another child. We adults do something similar when we "cry" for the goodies of others we see.
