PvP Mercenary Mode Coming to World of Warcraft

An upcoming patch will add a farmer versus player Mercenary Mode to World of Warcraft.

This implies that if your faction is experiencing a protracted wait time for you to get into Ashran or unrated Battlegrounds, agents will show up in your base that will enable you to enter disguised for an enemy player, playing for that other faction.

You still earn the same rewards when playing as being a mercenary, unless these are faction-specific achievements. Your race are going to be automatically turned into an appropriate one in the opposite faction if you are inside Ashran and the Battleground.

The announcement for the WoW blog says that Blizzard's goal "with Mercenary Mode is always to allow players who wish to participate in Ashran or unrated Battlegrounds a chance to do so without needing to wait through long queues, while still maintaining the spirit with the core Alliance vs Horde fantasy."

Blizzard's long running MMO recently got inducted into the Video Game Hall of Fame. In movie news, immediately saw the discharge of an interactive Warcraft movie trailer that you fly over Stormwind on the gryphon.
