The DO coordinator, among the applicants for one of the 20 positions created
Four advisers to the mayor of Ourense, Gonzalo Pérez Jácome, choose to have a permanent position in the Artificial Intelligence Center (CIA) created by the councilor. Three of the temporary staff members appointed by the councilor are already exercising functions in the center while another of those already admitted in the selection process launched by the Council is the coordinator of the municipal DO group, Pablo Gavilán.

The Council yesterday published the provisional list of applicants admitted and excluded to apply for 17 positions of interim civil servants in the position of Senior Data and Software Engineer. There are 31 admitted applicants, among whom are Ignacio Abadín, Edgar Figueiras and Alejandro Campos, who already work at the AI ​​Center, where Jácome placed them appointing them as temporary personnel of the government group. Added to this list is Pablo Gavilán, who is currently the coordinator of the DO group in the City Council, and was also appointed advisor by Jácome upon reaching the Mayor's Office.
Likewise, Gavilán also competes in the process of hiring interim officials in the position of Software and Systems Technician, for which there are three positions. 21 applicants have been admitted, among which is this Jácome advisor.

Once the scores are resolved, should these four Jácome advisers enter this AI Center with a position (until 2024), the mayor would have another four vacant positions to expand his already extensive list of advisers.

Requirements

As specified in the bases of the call, to choose the positions of senior data engineer it is necessary to be in possession of a Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Telecommunications Engineering, Physics, Mathematics, Mathematics and Computer Science, Engineering Software, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, Technologies for the Information Society, Statistics and Computer Engineering or any other degree that, taking into account its curricular content, allows to prove sufficient technical knowledge.

For the positions of software technicians, they must be in possession of the intermediate degree FP title of Technician in Microinformatics Systems and Networks, or Technician in Computer Systems Exploitation, or equivalent.
