You can sell wheels to your current customers and also attract new customers to your shop. Your current customer base is a ready market since they know you, trust you, are satisfied with your service and are easily accessible to you. New customers can be attracted through marketing programs that will help your business grow and become more profitable. Marketing should be conducted in three areas: in store marketing, additions to your current advertising/marketing efforts and a more proactive outreach.

Your showroom should feature wheel displays, posters and brochures. When customers approach the sales counter or when they are checking out, remind them that you sell wheels redhotdistributors.com. If customer comes in to purchase tires, suggest a tire and custom wheel package. When customers are waiting on their cars, take advantage of software that allows you to show a customer what new wheels would look like on their cars--most suppliers or manufacturers offer this now.

You should also include wheels in your current advertising and marketing. Your supplier may have high quality images you can use or may be able to help with flyers or other marketing support. Christmas time and tax return season are both great times to market custom wheels.

You can open your doors to new customers by reaching out to car clubs and attending car shows and races. The advantage of marketing to these groups is that they are enthusiasts and are already disposed to spending money on their cars. Car clubs are usually either focused around a specific model, such as Mustangs or Jeeps, or a specific kind of car such as 1950's models or off road vehicles. You can reach these groups by letting them use your facilities for meetings or by offering to make a presentation at one of their meetings--your supplier may be able to help with this.

At car shows or racing events, you can set up a booth with wheels on display, enter your own (customized, of course) car or sponsor a car. Just make sure your shop's name is displayed if you enter a car or sponsor one. Marketing ideas are only limited by your imagination. Start slowly and see what works.
