Aegean Airlines only allows dogs as service animals. Other types of animals may not be carried as service animals. A service animal must be requested at least 48 hours before departure. There are no restrictions on the weight and size of animals.

Service dog transport must be requested and confirmed in the booking as SR SVAN (not PETC).
If the presence of a service dog is not required during the flight, it can be carried free of charge in the baggage compartment as AVIH.
The passenger is obliged to provide a container for transporting the animal or buy it at the airport.
The seat adjacent to the seat of the disabled passenger must remain free (this must be taken into account for any changes related to the flight).
A service animal must not pose a direct threat to the health or safety of others.
The animal should not interfere with the maintenance of the cabin.
The animal must not move around the cabin.
The animal must be on a leash or otherwise restricted in movement.
If the flight duration is 8 hours or more, then the passenger must provide a certificate that the animal will not need to defecate during the flight or that the animal can defecate without causing sanitary and hygienic problems during the flight.

You should read an article about USA Service Animal and you will not regret it and will be able to increase your knowledge in this area
