Sex workers charged after Gold Coast raid but workers say they thought escort agency was legal

Police have assaulted a supposed unlawful escort organization on the Gold Coast and accused 25 individuals of prostitution escorts in gold coast offenses, however a few of the ladies say they were "misdirected" into violating the law.

The State Crime Command started examining the Coomera business in March.
Police said the office had acted like a real activity, with officials uncovering reports including business agreements and worksheets.
Officials attacked the home of the supposed entrepreneur, Shawn Moy, 47, and accused him of offenses including intentionally carrying on the matter of giving unlawful prostitution.
He was delivered on bail in the wake of showing up in the Brisbane Magistrates Court today and is expected to show up in court again one month from now.

She said she was captured by a covert cop acting like a customer.
"We went higher up — he was acting anxious, he resembled 'this is my first time doing this'," she said.
"He gave me the $400 and he went to close the overhang. Before I know it, two cops leave.
"I separated, I wound up having a fit of anxiety … I thought I planned to go directly to the watch house, directly to imprison as a result of my escorts in gold coast history."
Sharon said she had just been working for the organization for quite a long time and had been over and again guaranteed the business was lawful.
