The challenges of teen skin can feel profound. Hormonal surges cause enlargement of the oil glands, making teen skin oilier. Then it leads to large pores, blackheads, and acne. Although you and your friends may be experiencing similar skin problems, everyone’s skin different. That means the products and tips that work for your friends might not work for you. Here are a few common recommendations that may be helpful in managing your skin.
Cleanse Carefully

It is very helpful to use a foaming or gel cleanser on a daily basis if your skin is oily. Cleanse at least twice a day if you wear makeup. People who wear makeup, be sure to remove eye makeup first and then cleanse with your face wash. Never go to sleep with your makeup on! Sleeping with makeup on can lead to acne and clogged pores. Removing your makeup every night is a skincare necessity. For teens that have dry rather than oily skin, try a milky cleanser and light, oil-free moisturizer.

Oil Control

As said earlier, hormonal changes can lead to an extra oily face for many teens. And Extra Oily face harsh your skin and make your appearance fade and dull. We recommend a 3 step approach to keep the oil on your skin under control.

Always use a medicated cleanser. Choose products containing oil control ingredients like salicylic acid, benzoyl peroxide, or sulfur.

Use Good Quality Acne Products

If you have breakouts, You must try this approach – You should wash your face twice a day with warm water with an acne gel or soap. Massage the acne gel on your face in a circular motion, Don’t scrub. Scrubbing or over-washing may lead to damage to the skin tissues. After cleansing, use the benzoyl peroxide-containing lotion. It helps red inflamed pimples go away faster.

Always avoid touching your skin with your hands or fingers. Touching your face with fingers can spread the bacteria that cause pores to become inflamed and irritated. So always wash your hand before applying anything on your face like cream or makeup.

All of these treatments can lead to dryness and a daily moisturizer should be used liberally as needed. During the day try to use a moisturizer with SPF 30 or higher. When treating acne, it is a good idea to treat your entire face. This will not only treat the acne you have but hopefully prevent new acne from developing.

Sun and Skin

We all know how important is to protect our skin from the harmful rays of the sun. As it is impossible to avoid the sun, so we should use sunscreen to keep our skins looking young. Prefer an oil-free sunscreen containing sun protection factor (SPF) 30 or higher.

The Sunrays are strongest between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m., so use sunscreen frequently and take breaks indoors if you can. if your shadow is longer than you are tall, then it’s a safer time to be in the sun.
Wash your hands

The best and common way to help your skin stay healthy is to protect it from dirt and too many germs. Always wash your hand before touch your face or touch your makeup. Always wash another surface that touches your skin, such as your phone and your makeup brushes.
Other Skin Problem

There is another common skin problem among teens called warts. These are tiny skin infections caused by a virus of the HPV family. There is no way to stop warts from occurring. If you are facing a warts problem, don’t rub or scratch them because this way you spread the virus and get new warts.
