Dignity College of Healthcare online surgical technician training is far better than other online Surgical Technician programs as it offers the training and exam review of the EKG technician, as well as a comprehensive program that is simple and easy to tailor for the Surgical Technician. The cost of exams like the EKG nationally-certified exam is up to the student. Similar to the way, fees for examinations like Surgical Tech exam (see fees schedule) are not included in the cost of tuition. Students can apply for national certification exam and pay themselves at the completion of the course. We strongly would recommend Healthcare Professionals Competency Testing HPCT for the EKG and Surgical Tech National Certification Examinations. So a completion of our training program will allow the student to be able to practice as an EKG Tech in virtually any state that is part of the United States, as well being able to practice as an Surgical Tech anywhere in the United States.


Students can pass the surgical tech national certification test at the conclusion of the course even before completing scrub hours.


Check out the scrubs requirement. They will also receive the school certificate of graduation.


Since we have students enrolled in this course from various states, every student is expected to locate an externship facility in order to practice hands-on in the following weeks. We do not make agreements with scrubs facilities.


If you do not require for the EKG Tech certificate, the cost is still the same. The certificate is not a requirement.

The remaining nine states not listed are dependent on the particular facility.

How it works:

3. Learn the program and complete the exam preparation with the help provided by an instructor on the internet. (Surgical Tech alone (2 months or faster), Surgical Tech & EKG (4 months or faster) Surgical Tech, EKG & Patient Care Tech (6 months or faster). For the first eight weeks, it are for the EKG Technician Course (If you're looking for the EKG course) The next 8 weeks are for the Surgical Technician training course and the last 8 weeks are for the patient care tech course If you choose that combination.


4. The assignments are due each week. (Your teacher online will guide you through the process)


5. You can register for the national certification exam (Your instructor will help you)


6. Examine at the nearest national testing center for the zip code you are in, usually within 40 miles from you or test from your computer by having a test proctor watching your test via web cam.
