THE AIR JORDAN 1 LOW IS BACK WITH THE SWOOSH LOGO PRESENT TOO

Back in May of this year, Jordan Brand did something rather unexpected. Considering how iconic the Nike Swoosh logo is and the meaningful role that it has played in the history of Jordan Brand, it was odd and unusual when an Air Jordan 1 Low iteration lacking the Swoosh was introduced. It was perhaps even more surprising since sneakerheads apparently have strong feelings about Nike branding and they were kind of responsible for the comeback of the Nike Air logo on Air Jordan 4, Air Jordan 6 and other models. The Air Jordan 1 Low is back and it features the Nike Swoosh once again.

As far as the Air Jordan 1 Low is concerned, Jordan Brand has only been dropping Swooshless colorways of it ever since May 2016. The very first one had looked quite premium, featuring all-Black, soft full-grain leather uppers combined with all-White soles. Jordan Brand had also dropped somewhat of a collection that had included three difference Air Jordan 1 Low Swooshless colorways. In fact, the Air Jordan 1 Low Swooshless had even been selected for one of PSNY’s collaboration with Jordan Brand. However, as impressive as the Air Jordan 1 Low Swooshless is, many sneakerheads are probably glad that the Swoosh has returned.

The last No Swoosh variation of the Air Jordan 1 Low that had hit the shelves was on July 7 and it was a literally all-White sneaker fit for the summer, but the current season is now nearing its end. This latest rendition of the Air Jordan 1 Low appears to be all-Black, but it is kind of tonal. The uppers also once again seem to be quite premium, with a leather base that features tonal suede overlays that are visible around the collars, heels, lace stays and toe caps. The toe boxes also appear to be perforated, which likely makes this sneaker quite breathable. Perhaps best of all, not only does it feature the Jordan “Wings” branding but also the Nike Swoosh logo.

It is definitely somewhat of a welcomed change that sneakerheads can cop an Air Jordan 1 Low pair that sports the iconic Swoosh branding. They will not even have to wait since this all-Black Air Jordan 1 Low has already hit the shelves at select, nationwide Jordan Brand and Nike retailers.
